Legacy systems rely on hundreds, if not thousands, of sprinkler heads connected to complex networks of pipes. This design creates numerous potential failure points, increasing the risk of malfunctions, leaks, and costly repairs. In a recent four year period, firefighters across the country responded to 29,700 cases of sprinklers accidentally being set off, with many more tens of thousands requiring urgent maintenance due to leaking and other malfunctions.
